is operating are wish to "shed light" on
the unsavory or unethical practices of competitors.

to existing topics. |

Everything
They Ever Wanted To Know...
A reader should finish any topic with a
complete understanding of the "inside" information
on your topic. Readers should a functional knowledge of
your topic and should be armed with all the information
they need to control their experience with this topic
or actively pursue this topic with confidence and an up-to-date
set of resources for enabling success.
For example, an unacceptable submission
would be an ex-card dealer who complains about casino
practices and claims that any card game can be won with
skill.
An acceptable version of the same submission
would be an ex-card dealer who clearly explains how casinos
operate, maximize revenue, and manipulate customers into
spending money. The author would focus on exposing casino
secrets for success, sucker bets, and provide hard data
to substantiate and claims about odds or "winning"
strategies. Readers should gain a broad understanding
of the casino business.
You don't have to teach a reader how to
be a casino owner, but you should provide them with everything
they need to know if they wanted to, and a clear list
of resources to fill in any knowledge or skill gaps.
The key for any topic is for the
author to provide a reader with all the information they
need to be completely informed on the topic to a degree
that places them on a level playing field with the author.
Required skills or techniques, if not included, should
be indicated with references.
|
|
 |
The Submission Process
The submission process begins
when an author submits a proposal for an available topic
or an unlisted topic that they can demonstrate value for.
There is no charge
for submitting proposals.
Proposals should be submitted
via e-mail in a Microsoft Word®, or plain text file
to:
submissions@secrettruthabout.com
Each proposal must include
the following:
| • |
|
Your legal name, address,
phone number and e-mail address. This is required
even if you wish to remain anonymous when published.
|
| • |
|
A two paragraph overview
detailing why someone would want to purchase your
information.
|
| • |
|
A tentative outline
of your topic, structured as a book with chapters.
Each chapter should have a clear pertinence to the
topic.
|
| • |
|
A sample chapter, preferably
on your topic, demonstrating your ability to communicate
in a concise manner.
|
| • |
|
An indication of the
status of your work and what is needed in terms of
time, illustration, etc. to complete the product.
|

Royalties
SecretTruthAbout.com
pays much higher author royalites than
traditional publishers. Printing books is risky and expensive,
leaving even best selling authors with 9% - 20% of net
sales. We feel that authors deserve much more, and our
lower overhead costs allow us to deliver. In fact, our
lowest tier royalty level is higher than what most publishers
pay verteran authors. Best of all, we require
no up front money or investment. Ever.
Royalties
are paid out to authors as a percentage of net
sales*, based on the level of total units sold
since publishing. In
order to preserve the value of information, unit prices
adjust downward when sales are slow (to stimulate purchases)
and upward when sales are brisk (to limit availability
and maximize return).
Quality product combined with national advertising
drives sales. You can even improve your own benefits by
providing complementary marketing of your site through
online forums, seminars, signs, etc.
We handle all the payment processing work
and send you a check every three months.
Authors with popular topics can make thousands of dollars
a month!

|
